Problem
A lubrication manufacturer needed a way to do comparative tests between some different lubricants at elevated temperatures and pressures.
The hope was that there was a test apparatus available that could actually simulate the temperatures and pressures at which their customers were using their lubricants.
Solution
After reviewing the problem with the customer it was determined that the best solution would be a Model 75 ServoPress fitted with a draw clamp fixture and strip draw die faces with heating elements. This configuration includes the standard operator interface for control and monitoring clamp load, draw force and temperature.
Results
